This statement addresses federal record-keeping requirements for adult content and their application to this site.
Exemption statement
ComixFox is not a "producer" — primary or secondary — of any of the visual content made available through this website, as that term is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. § 75. The Service provides access to comics created and produced by third parties and does not create, film, or photograph any content itself.
Illustrated and fictional works
The comics available through the Service are illustrated, drawn, animated, or otherwise fictional works. They depict imaginary characters and do not depict actual human beings engaged in actual sexually explicit conduct. Such works are not subject to the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257.
Any photographic or real-person content
To the extent any content references or incorporates depictions of real persons, the original producers of that content are responsible for maintaining the records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257, and any request for such records will be directed to the applicable producer.
Age of persons and characters depicted
All persons and characters depicted anywhere on the Service were at least 18 years of age at the time of creation, and all characters are represented as adults. Content that depicts, or appears to depict, minors is strictly prohibited and removed immediately (see our Content Removal policy).

Inquiries regarding 18 U.S.C. § 2257 compliance, including records requests, may be directed to [email protected], which will route the request to the appropriate producer where applicable.
