Respect for copyright

ComixFox makes third-party comics available and respects the intellectual-property rights of others. We respond to clear, valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable laws.

Filing a takedown notice

To report material you believe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• The exact URL(s) on this site of the material you want removed, so we can locate it;
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Where to send it

Send notices to our designated agent at [email protected]. Valid notices are actioned promptly, typically within a few business days.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your contact information plus consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, remove content and restrict access for parties who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
