Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. Here is exactly what ComixFox does and does not collect.
1. Overview
ComixFox is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not require accounts, and we do not sell your data. This policy explains what limited information we process and why.
2. Information we process
- Log data: your IP address, browser/device type, referring page, and pages viewed, recorded automatically for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate statistics.
- Local storage: a flag remembering that you confirmed you are 18+, and your reading position within a comic, stored in your own browser.
- Analytics: aggregate, non-identifying usage metrics (for example, which comics are popular).
3. How we use information
We use this limited information to operate and secure the Service, remember your age confirmation and reading position, understand which content is popular, and prevent abuse. We do not build advertising profiles about you.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your age confirmation and reading progress. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings; doing so will simply show the age gate again and reset saved reading positions.
5. Third-party services
Images are served through a content-delivery network and object storage. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics provider. These providers process technical data (such as IP address) only to deliver and measure the Service.
6. Data retention
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
7. Children
The Service is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us at [email protected] and we will act promptly.
8. Your choices & contact
You can clear local storage, block cookies, or stop using the Service at any time. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
